In 2007, I moved from Roswell, New Mexico to Southern California in order to attend Azusa Pacific University. It was there that I received my Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Studies, my multiple subject teaching credential, and my Masters of Arts in Education. This will be my 8th year teaching fifth grade and I look forward to see what this year has in store for us. In the classroom, I want my students to fall in love with learning just as I did. Through hands-on activities, engaging lessons, and exciting material, I will show the students how fun learning can be.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son and daughter, family, and friends. I like playing the piano or relaxing with a good book. On the other hand, you can find me enjoying the good California weather while camping, going to the river, riding bikes, wakesurfing, (trying) to play golf, or cheering on the Anaheim Ducks!
